26th to 31st August – European Folklore Week | Funchal and Estreito de Câmara de Lobos

National and International folk dancing groups will perform on the ninth edition of this cultural festival held at the Auditorium of Funchal’s Municipal Garden and in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos.
The event is organized by the Folklore and Ethnographic Group of Boa Nova in order to encourage inter-cultural communication and to promote the local traditions through ethnography and folklore.
As in previous years, diverse folklore groups will come together creating a rich and colourful display of musical styles.
